Can't believe you bothered writing this, though I have heard that, "My father always used to say that when you die if you've got five real friends you've had a great life..".

Thanks for your website, Chris!!!
I'm working on a project that relates to multi-touches. I'd like to do with touch event such as :
double touches on screen, image will be zoomed in and if you touch on screen and move your finger around screen, it'll make brightness and contrast of screen increase/decrease. Could you please help me with this trouble by your example code?! Thanks and regards.

I think you would do somthing like

– (void)touchesMoved:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *) {

SystemSound = [[sounds alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@”C3″ ofType:@”wav”]];
[SystemSound play];

}

But thats only to play one sound if you want a snother sound to play when you press two fingers i belive you would do this

if ([touch tapCount] == 2) {

SystemSound = [[sounds alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@”AL1″ ofType:@”mp3″]];
[SystemSound play];

	}

I think sorry if i was wrong but i tried.

To fix that in xcode go to "[roject" (at the top of the screen) and choose "Edit Project Settings" then find "Base SDK" then click two arrows to the right and choose under IOS "Latest IOS"

Hope that helps!

Chris,

For your readers... I was having some problems with my touches, which is why I needed this site. After much effort, I found what I was doing wrong. There were 2 things:
1 - I had my own loadView code, but didn't start it with [super loadView]; Leaving this out means that touches will never be triggered.
2 - I was beginning loadView with
self.view = [[UIView alloc] init];
I guess I must have copied this from somewhere(?) But it is a bad idea, and also means that touches aren't triggered. When I took this out, my touches started to work! Yay!
